How can I be sure Pattern Village is eco-friendly?
Our motto is Earth-First. The fabric we use is made from recycled water bottles. Our shipping materials are all eco-friendly. The mailer you receive is compostable and the tissue paper and sticker are FSC certified, made from acid free paper and use soy-based inks. We plant one tree for every dressing gown purchased to offset our carbon footprint and help pump clean oxygen back into the atmosphere.
What is your approach to ethical manufacturing?
Our dressing gowns are made in Brooklyn, New York by a small-run sew house. We work with them one on one and value that they uphold the same guidelines and expectations in the workplace as we do. We’re constantly checking in with all suppliers to ensure ethical guidelines are upheld. One of the many benefits of slow fashion is that we create lasting relationships with everyone we work with and there is a mutual appreciation for transparency.
Yes! Our fabric is PFAS-free, tested and certified by Intertek, a Total Quality Assurance provider, which ensures products and services meet and exceed quality, safety, sustainability and performance standards. With a 130-year history, they are global leaders in sustainability services.
We follow the philosophy of hand wash the pieces you care for and love so that they can be passed on for generations to come. You can dry clean or hand wash cold, hang to dry, and iron at a low temperature, if necessary. We’re also big fans of spot cleaning.
Our dressing gowns are made in and ship from New York. Our dressing gowns are only available for purchase directly through our website.
Orders can take up to 3-5 business days to process before shipping. All orders ship Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Items purchased during holiday seasons may take 1-2 days longer than usual.
Pre order means the dressing gowns are available for purchase right now, but are not available for immediate shipment.
Returns and exchanges can be made within 14 days from the date of delivery. Dressing gown must be unworn and in the brand new condition it was received. To make a return or exchange, please get in touch with us directly at email@example.com. Please note, that we do not cover the shipping costs of return or exchanged goods.
